We need your support to secure vital funding

Voting opens at 9am on October 21st 2016

Wythall Community Association is calling for the support of the local community to help win funding as part of the Aviva Community Fund 2016.
The Association is relying on votes to increase their chances of winning funding of up to £10,000 which they hope will allow them to REFURBISH THE TRACTOR SHED.

Only projects with the most votes will become finalists, so additional support is vital.
The renovation will improve the look of the building which has stood for over 20 years and at the moment is a bit of an eyesore. The new cladding will make it secure and weather tight.
Wythall Park provides the community with sports pitches (football, cricket, tennis bowls, archery and Gaelic football), play areas for toddlers and older children, 4 acres of woods and paths to walk. This is all provided and looked after by the volunteers of Wythall Community Association, mainly from funds raised at the Bonfire Event and use of the facilities.
Paul Johnson, Chairman of the House & Park Committee said “We are delighted to have got through the initial Aviva assessment and it would be wonderful to improve the facilities for the hard working team that maintain the park and keep the tractor and machinery in working order.  PLEASE VOTE FOR OUR PROJECT”
To get behind Wythall Community Association and help make a difference in your local community, visit https://community-fund.aviva.co.uk/voting/project/view/16-2984 and submit your vote before 18 November 2016.
Thanking you in advance.

A few months ago we put in an application for funding from the Tesco Bags of Help campaign for a Splitter so we can shred branches cut down around the park and use them for paths etc. so they don't have to be burned and also a Roller to help look after the park.

We have been told we are one of three winners in the Midlands area, so we have secured £8,000

But to win we need your votes, voting will take place inside Tesco stores between 31 October to 13 November.

We would really appreciate your help in voting for us.

More details on how to vote for us will be published very soon.
