Armistice Day Beacon Lighting in the Park.
To mark the 100th anniversary since the end of WW1 the Association is taking part in the national Beacon Lighting.
At 7pm on Sunday 11th November 2018 the beacon in the park will be lit along with others across the country.
Also on Friday 16th November 2018 there will be a joint event between Wythall Community Association and the Royal British Legion held in Park Hall. The beacon will be lit again at 7pm along with a small firework display followed by musical entertainment in Park Hall.
Tickets for Friday 16th are now available from Wythall House.
Wythall Community Association would like to thank Simon Beckett for his donation, full story can be found by clicking this link.
As a registered charity we raise funds by hiring function and meeting rooms and we provide various sports pitches which are managed by relevant sporting clubs.
The Wythall Community Club was formed in order that members could raise funds socially for the benefit of the Association.
Why not join and become a member?
We are based at Wythall House on Silver Street and manage the 37 acres of parkland known as Wythall Park.
Membership of the Association is open to all residents of Wythall and the surrounding area.
As the Association is a Registered Charity it is governed by Trustees who are either representatives of local organisations (e.g. WI, Scouts etc) or are nominated from within the membership. All are volunteers as indeed are most of the people who maintain the land and buildings of the Park itself.
